Java & Javascript By Ian Taylor

This applet is lets you try out the various parameters that you might want to use in the 3dText applet. Without having to save your HTML file and refresh your browser every time you want to see what effects your changes have made.

To use it simply change which ever values you wish and it will up date in real time unless you choose a really extreme depth value in which case things can get a bit sluggish. When you are happy with the results click on the cut and paste HTML button below to generate the HTML you need to include the applet on your web page.

You can get some interesting effects by using text colour values near the top of the range and keeping "wrap" off.

For more info see below the applet and if you get really stuck E mail me.

I have restricted the choice of fonts because anything too fancy that may work on your browser may not work on another. You can enter numbers in any white box except the check boxes. The gray boxes are for information only.
Checking the "Fix" boxes means that the chosen colour does'nt have any shading applied to it. If you check any box its value is "true" when you amend the parameters.

To make life a little easier here's a list of common colours.
